Zed+Zed+Eye Design helps tell their story by creating a brand identity that is cohesive with the atmosphere of the restaurant.
Brewing traditional Belgian-styled ales, Infinite Ale Works is a haven to the ever expanding horizons of craft beer aficionados. Zed+Zed+Eye has worked with the fine folks at Infinite from inception. We helped brainstorm the name the brewery, craft the brand identity, and hand etch the original works of art for each label. The result is a look that is turning the heads of the craft beer universe. Our office is conveniently located several blocks away and we enjoy "checking out our work" whenever we can.
The Marion County Literacy Council is a non-profit organization that helps local adults learn to read and write. By using partial letter forms, reading the logo for the average person requires some effort. The logo serves as an empathetic tool for the community to understand that reading is not easy for everyone.
Halcyon Days Cider Company partnered with us to develop their identity to evoke the tradition of appalachian craftsmanship. We custom etched each illustration on scratchboard for authentic handcrafted quality. The result is an identity the reflects the cider they produce.
Each of their limited edition lines of apple cider are handmade using the same heirloom ingredients, machinery and techniques as you would find 300 years ago. Every glass is a reminder of simpler times.
deBine Brewing Co., located in Palm Harbor, FL, offers their guests the ultimate craft beer experience. Within their 2,500 sq.ft. taproom, they serve the latest deBine beers fresh on tap, live music, bar games, and customized beer tasting events.
The identity is inspired by the age old paradoxes of heaven/hell, good/evil, or light beer/dark beer. The name 'deBine' is a wordplay on the type of vine that hops grow on, 'bine' and 'divine'. After our client meeting and a brief period of research and discovery, we presented a concept that referenced a halo above a hop bud. The divine hop was born. By further incorporating a devil tail on the heavenly hop bud, it hints that we can all be a bit bad at times.
